How to use the Invoice Calculator
- Add each item with quantity and unit price; use '+ Add item' for more rows.
- Enter any discount and the tax / GST rate.
- Add a delivery or shipping charge if needed.
- Read the subtotal, discount, tax and total due.
How it's calculated
Show the formula
Total = (subtotal − discount) × (1 + tax ÷ 100) + delivery
Tax is worked out after the discount, which is how most invoices are calculated. Delivery is added at the end without tax; include it as an item instead if your tax rules say it is taxable.
